I am running as a grassroots conservative Republican for the South Dakota House in District 26B because I believe it is time to return government to the people it was meant to serve. For too long, rural South Dakotans have watched decisions being influenced by large corporate interests, foreign entities, and career politicians. Our district deserves representation that answers to its citizens — not outside pressure.
Amanda and I have called South Dakota home for over 30 years. While she was born here, together, we have lived in District 26B for over 20 years. We have raised two boys, building our family on a foundation of faith, responsibility, and commitment to our community. My close relationship with Jesus Christ shapes how I live, how I serve, and how I lead. My faith is not a campaign slogan — it is the anchor of my life.
Professionally, I am a master’s-level mental health professional and small business owner. For the past seven years, I have worked directly with individuals and families facing hardship, trauma, and real-life challenges. I have seen firsthand the pressures placed on parents, the struggles facing children, and the importance of strong, stable homes. My business exists to help others strengthen their lives and relationships, and that same commitment to people drives my campaign.
Before this chapter, I served more than nine years as a volunteer firefighter across two departments and worked as an EMT and first responder. I answered calls in the middle of the night when neighbors needed help most. That experience reinforced a simple truth: service is not about recognition — it is about responsibility. It is about showing up when it matters.
I decided to run when I realized enough was enough. We are losing our voice as citizens. Government was designed to be of the people, for the people, and by the people, and I believe District 26B deserves a representative who will stand firmly for rural values while remaining respectful and accessible.
My priorities are clear:
Represent the people of 26B and their voice
Safeguard our Second Amendment freedoms
Protect parental rights and defend families
Protect our children from harmful influences
Protect the property rights of South Dakotans
Prevent foreign entities from purchasing South Dakota land and resources
Limit government spending and stop backroom deals
Protect agriculture and our food supply from harmful chemicals and artificial substitutes
Defend the independence and integrity of rural communities
Unity matters, but unity cannot come at the expense of our values. I am willing to work with anyone who is committed to protecting the people of this district. At the same time, I will not compromise on principles that safeguard our families, our freedoms, and our future.
Running for office is not about personal sacrifice or ambition. It is an honor and a duty to serve. District 26B deserves a strong, consistent voice in Pierre — one grounded in faith, family, freedom, and the rights of the people. The people deserve to BE the VOICE!
